Biography
Dr. Bonney graduated in 1975 from the School of Social Work at San Diego State University after returning home from naval service during the Vietnam war. He completed pre-med education at Southwestern Oregon Community College and earned his doctorate of chiropractic in 1985 from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Bonney established the Accident & Pain Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1986 after licensing in both Arizona and New Mexico. He became board certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners in 2001 and was recertified in 2005. He has also been licensed by the FAA since 1996 as a commercial hot air balloon pilot and flight instructor.
Dr. Bonney maintains an active and integrated private practice treating patients from an orthopedic and biomechanical perspective in Albuquerque. He daily performs peer reviews for national clients and also conducts panel and Independent Medical Examinations in collaboration with orthopedists, neurologists and neurosurgeons, and other physical medicine physicians.
Dr. Bonney has conducted reviews of chiropractors,
acupuncturists, osteopaths, medical doctors, physical therapists, and massage
therapists since 1990. He has extensive depositional and courtroom experience
for both the plaintiff and defense bar. He is uniquely qualified to address
chiropractic guidelines and standards of care and can communicate medicolegal
issues appropriate or critical to any case.
